I hate SVN. I hate SVN. I REALLY HATE SVN.

The first thing I heard about source control was: “SVN is terrible. It’s painfully slow, and you frequently have to run manual ‘fixes’. We’ll use git.”. I followed the expert’s advice (order, in fact ;) and I’ve been using git for about 2 years, having lots of fun with source control - until now. I now have to use SVN at work. It’s very slow (compared to git). I always have to manually fix conflicts, rebuild directory trees and other stupid things that should be automatic. I have to go drink coffee while stuff merge. I can take a nap while repos are being checked out. It’s boring. It’s painful. I really hate SVN.
